A new threat has been discovered, "The Scarab", a group of killers terrorizing the region. Appollodorus sent Bayek to meet an informer named Harkuf, who was gathering information about these killers.
On the way, I found a man screaming on the road. I asked him about what happened. He told me the sad story that his hippo is dead. He used him in the circus to earn money but now he is dead so his earnings have been stopped. I feel so bad. That is the best thing about this game. Every situation has its own story that will make you feel like a real life.
I continued my journey to the siwa. It was about 2km, so it took a lot of time to get there. But the journey was perfect. The nature was beautiful to watch.
After I reached the place, I saw that there were many soldiers guarding the area. Now the situation is not the same as before. Bayek has already become the most wanted person. So being noticed by the soldiers means a new danger.
Instead of going straight inside, I first used my eagle, Sinu. Sinu flew around the entire area and told me where Harkuf was and how to reach him. Harkuf was working inside. But soldiers were guarding the main gate. So I decided to take a different route.
I met him and told him everything. I told him that Appollodorus had sent me and that I wanted to know about the Scarab. Harkuf understood that the matter was very sensitive. He said that it was not safe to talk about these things standing here. We must go to a secret place.
Harkuf took me to his house. Once there, he opened a secret room hidden inside the house. He said I would get some important information about the Scarab.
I went inside and found several letters and documents. A few side quests were unlocked. I accepted them all. When I was searching around with a torch in my hand, the torch accidentally caught fire in some parts of the house. The incident seemed quite funny.
When I came out, I asked Harkuf, “Has anyone else searched for the scarab?” He told me about another man. His name was Old Gupa. He was the father-in-law of a very influential man in the area. It is believed that he was kidnapped because he was searching for the scarab.
Now only his grandson, Kuab, is waiting. his grandfather will return one day.
After investigating, I found out that the Scarab people had imprisoned Old Gupa in a camp. I went there without delay. When I reached the camp, I used Sinu again. Looking from above, I found that he was being held in a place that looked like a bamboo cage. I quickly climbed up to the top of the camp.
As soon as I entered the camp, I saw a lion in a cage. I thought its skin might be useful in the future. So I killed the lion first.
Then I went to rescue Old Gupa. But unfortunately, a soldier saw me from a distance. The soldiers around me started attacking. These soldiers were very strong. They had large shields in their hands, with which they easily blocked my sword blows.
On the other hand, my health started to decrease gradually due to their attacks.
Just then, I used a new skill, Shield Breaker. I had never used this skill before. After charging for a while and releasing the attack, the enemy's shield broke.
After the shield broke, my attack started hitting them directly. I killed three powerful soldiers one by one.
Then I took the bow in my hand. Because the rest of the soldiers had no shields. So it was possible to kill them easily by shooting arrows from a distance.
After killing all the soldiers, I quickly freed Old Gupa. Then I put him on my horse and quickly escaped from that camp. I took him back to his house, where his grandson Kuab was waiting.
Scarab's men have cut out Old Gup's tongue so that he can't give anyone any information. but he had a letter.
The letter said that Scarab had organized a secret gathering for his warriors in the city of Letopolis. They are looking for new, powerful warriors.
Bayek decides that he will go to Letopolis. There, he will participate in the warrior ceremony and, if he gets the chance, he will find the leader of the Scarabs and will kill him.

The story about the circus hippo was so sad. I loved how you took the time to appreciate the 2km journey to Siwa. The scenery in this game really is breathtaking.

The detail about the Scarab cutting out old Gupa's tongue is so dark. I'm glad you got the old man back to his grandson safely.
Yes, the scarab didn't kill the man because he was the father-in-law of a powerful man.
The investigation surrounding the Scarab became more interesting the deeper you went into it. Meeting Harkuf, discovering the hidden room, and learning about Old Gupa made the entire storyline feel like a dangerous conspiracy rather than a simple assassination mission.
