I will survive the dry leaves
and though time may bare my feet
every wood creaks before my footsteps
and the branches of dead rose bushes
want to form palisades on the steps
Sinking groans, knotting my neck
"I will look for you"...I don't know if through hell or heaven
perhaps by scratching the stones, removing the sediment
to hear more clearly the voice that cries.
I'll remain standing, even if underneath the pain tells me: "stop".
the heavier were the tears for not seeing you
and my inner eyes see you lose your consonance
because inside a labyrinth... you look at me,
and in my dreams, you cling to my hand...
and so we want to remember, where we love each other.
I will survive the dry leaves
and even if the ladder wants to trap me in another era, in a different plane
it can't...it can't, there are feelings that don't stop
because the heart is armored...it is wise
it discerns what our conscience does not understand
and has the will of the warrior
that's why each step... will give me strength
because I won't feel the rejections, the road won't hurt
only my goal will be the adventure
of annihilating love in our bodies
forever.
