BATTLE MAGE SECRETS LOST MAGIC

This week, I'm sharing my game in Lost Magic ruleset using Quix the Devious.

Ruleset:
Explosive Weaponry
Earthquake
Lost Magic

Mana Cap: 28
Elements: Fire, Earth, Death, Dragon

Game Modifications


"This is a Explosive Weaponry ruleset game so All Monsters have the Blast ability.
The best strategy is to have fast monsters with Snipe, Sneak, Opportunity. For defense, Shield and Void will come in handy."

"This is a Earthquake ruleset game so Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.
Using monsters with Flying or Heal is the trick for this ruleset, but if you are unable to choose such monsters, use monsters that have high HP and high damage."

"This is a Lost Magic ruleset game so Monsters with Magic attack may not be used in battles.
Don't use Magic Reflect monsters or summoners. Focus on high speed and abilities like Flying, Dodge, Blind. Thorns and Shield are the key in this ruleset."

Summoner: Quix the Devious

Abilities:
All enemy monsters lose -1 ranged attack
All enemy monsters lose -1 speed

Quix the Devious


Pos 1 Monster: Pelacor Mercenary

Abilities:
Flying - Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability +25% chance of evading.
Heal - Restores a portion of the Monster's health each round
Restores 1/3 of the max health, rounded down.

Pos 2 Monster: Manticore

Abilities:
Flying - Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability +25% chance of evading.
Reach - It may attack from the second position on the team.
Thorns - When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker
Has an upper cap of 2

Pos 3 Monster: Brownie

Abilities:
Swiftness - It gives all friendly Monsters +1 increased Speed.
Inspire - Gives all friendly Monsters +1 Melee attack.

Pos 4 Monster: Screeching Vulture

Abilities:
Opportunity - It may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health.
Flying - Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability +25% chance of evading.
Scavenger - Gains 1 max health each time any monster dies

Pos 5 Monster: Venator Kinjo

Abilities:
Reflection Shield - This Monster is immune to all indirect, or reflected damage. That means that it will not take damage from Blast, Thorns, Return Fire, or Magic Reflect
Camouflage - This Monster cannot be targeted for attacks unless it's in the first position
Immunity - This monster is immune to negative status effects
Slow - Reduces the Speed of all enemy Monsters

I thought my opponent would choose a sneak line up so I put Venator Kinjo in position 5.

Pos 6 Monster: Dragon Jumper

Abilities:
Flying - Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability +25% chance of evading.
Opportunity - It may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health.
Snare - When attacking enemies with Flying, removes the Flying ability and cannot miss.
Stun - When a Monster with Stun hits a target, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn.
50% chance of activation
