Is it wrong for someone like @sagarkothari88 to create an app to support his users? I really appreciate that someone is taking my content into account, because most Hive users don't even visit the posts, let alone vote on them, whether they're long or short. And this guy finally does, and he gets criticized. Honestly, I don't understand Hive users; there are things I just don't get.
I'm not doing any criticism. And I do like the idea of it, but given the fact that there was a massive issue with vote buying, it makes me wonder why @letusbuyhive is part of it.
Personally I really don't care, I just find it funny that it's viewed as okay in some instances while in others the content gets downvoted massively - also by accounts like @letusbuyhive, if I'm not mistaken. To me it just seems like a double point of view and lack of integrity, but that part is not on us users, it's on the more central figures on the chain.
I understand what you're saying, my friend. I'm well aware that some things are good for certain situations, while others aren't. What convenient paradoxes! Thanks for clarifying your point of view.
@caspermoeller89 thank you for the feedback
I constantly work & look for improvement.
Earlier it was curators driven but mostly it was circle vote.
I chose this approach smaller vote but same for all
but yes, didn't think through it. I'll update it soon. If you encounter anything, please feel free to tag me or dm me on MM, discord or telegram. I'll be happy to take a look at it.
At the end, it's all for hive community members.
By community, for community.
At the end, it's all container posts & comments below them.
Ecency creates a container post with ecency.waves account
Peakd creates a container post with peakd.snaps account
I don't want to burden blockchain by adding another container posts & divide users even further.
I let user choose where they want to post & where they want to make it visible.
I am currently working on top-level-post - app selection.
For top-level-post also, soon you'll be able to set - peakd/ecency/hive.blog/inleo/liketu.
So... a kind of vote buying? I thought that was looked down upon.
I see why it's a good way to go about it, but it's also a way to possibly scew the witnesses on Hive. Note that I'm not saying it's wrong, just that it's contradicting.
Is this recent? Because I haven't seen any of Sagarkothari88's curated posts in days, only Snaps or Replies, all through HiveSuite now. 🤔

Exactly. It's from today.

Well, I'm glad you've started voting again, since a few days ago a Hiver tried posting through HiveSuite and didn't get any votes. 🤔

I have no clue how it works. Been too busy to check up on it

Will do, good to see you getting back in this regard 💪🏼
I don't have a solution for how to do it properly. Does your apps have its own short content too or is it only to other platforms?

Sounds kinda like what I'm doing, except I'll add another short form too.
