Greetings everyone! Today I'd like to join the Ladies of Hive Community Contest #143 by sharing a bit about my first family vacation. Join me and I'll tell you all about it.
I was planning to take a vacation with my family. It would be our first vacation with our 2 year old daughter. A friend recommended a tour group that would take care of everything, so I contacted them with a bit of trepidation because I am one of those who plan trips a lot.
My friends from Rutas Moreno offered me a complete vacation package and I decided to leave our vacation in their hands, it was wonderful.
I hired them and they took care of everything, food, transportation and lodging for the price of $120 per person. We left from San Cristobal in the state of Tachira and traveled by bus. It was a 15 hour trip and finally we arrived at a nice inn with equipped apartments to spend the weekend.
In the morning they brought us breakfast very early and then we went by boat to a different key each of the 3 days we were in Falcon.
We took our first boat ride and it was great. Of course we were guaranteed lifeguards and the emergency rescuer traveled with us.
The activities at the beach revolved around our little girl. She loves the water and enjoyed every second swimming with her daddy.
Lunches were taken to the beach and in the afternoon we returned to the lodge to continue enjoying dance therapy, music in the pool and barbecues. It was a spectacular vacation.
The posada where we stayed is called Villas playa sur. It had a swimming pool, barbecue area, stage for shows, apartments equipped for cooking, discotheque, restaurant, and a restaurant. We really did not miss anything in this place.
It is clear that my role in this vacation goes from contacts for transportation and lodging, planning the activities of the trip. Buying the food we needed for the trip and for the dinners at the beach apartment that were not included in the package. We guaranteed our little daughter's juices with fresh fruits for 3 days.
The luggage which consisted of travel clothes, sleeping clothes, bathing suits and sun cover, sun block, a medicine kit for the little girl and for us, thermometer, alcohol, mouth mask. Candy for my daughter and dried fruits for me. Mineral water.
I also took care that we all arrived on time to the boat and that we ate enough, hydration all day, renew the sunscreen to avoid burns and extra activities, I for example took my drawing materials to distract me and do art therapy.
I loved this trip. We had a lot of fun and quality family time. I remember when I was a child my mom was in charge of everything related to vacations, I learned from her and I like to do it.

Mis primeras vacaciones familiares
¡Saludos a todos! Hoy me gustaría sumarme al Ladies of Hive Community Contest #143 compartiendo un poco sobre mis primeras vacaciones familiares. Acompáñenme y les cuento todo.
Tenía pensado dar unas vacaciones con mi familia. Serían nuestras primeras vacaciones con nuestra hija de 2 años. Un amigo me recomendó un grupo de turismo que se encargaba de todo, así que los contacté con un poco de temor porque soy de las que planifican mucho los viajes.
Los amigos de Rutas Moreno me ofrecieron un paquete vacacional completo y decidí dejar en sus manos nuestras vacaciones, fue maravilloso.
Los contraté y se encargaron de todo, comida, transporte y hospedaje por el precio de 120$ por persona. Salimos desde San Cristóbal en el estado Táchira y nos trasladamos en un autobús. Fueron 15 horas de viaje y finalmente llegamos a una bonita posada con apartamentos equipados para pasar el fin de semana.
En la mañana nos llevaban el desayuno bien temprano y luego salíamos en lancha para un cayo diferente cada uno de los 3 días que estuvimos en Falcón.
Dimos nuestro primer paseo en lancha y fue grandioso. Por supuesto nos garantizaron salvavidas y el rescatista de emergencia viajaba con nosotros.
Las actividades en la playa giraban en torno a nuestra pequeña. Le encanta el agua y disfrutó de cada segundo nadando con su papá.
Los almuerzos nos los llevaban a la playa y por la tarde regresabamos a la posada para seguir disfrutando de bailo terapia, música en la piscina y parrilladas. Fueron unas vacaciones espectaculares.
La posada donde nos hospedamos se llama Villas playa sur. Contaba con piscina, área de parrillada, tarima para espectaculos, apartamentos equipados para cocinar, discoteca, restaurante y bodegón. Realmente no nos hizo falta nada en este lugar.
Está claro que mi rol en estas vacaciones va desde los contactos para translado y hospedaje, planificar las actividades del viaje. Comprar los alimentos que necesitamos para el viaje y para las cenas en el apartamento de la playa que no estaban incluidas en el paquete. Los jugos de nuestra pequeña hija los garantizamos con frutas frescas para 3 días.
El equipaje que consistía en ropa de viaje, ropa de dormir, trajes de baño y cubre sol, bloqueador solar, un botiquín de medicamentos para la niña y para nosotros, termómetro, alcohol, tapabocas. Golosinas para mi hija y frutos secos para mi. Agua mineral.
También me ocupé de que todos llegaramos a tiempo a la lancha y que comieramos lo suficiente, la hidratación todo el día, renovar el bloqueador para evitar quemaduras y las actividades extra, yo por ejemplo llevé mis materiales de dibujo para distraerme y hacer arteterapia.
Amé este viaje. Disfrutamos mucho y pasamos tiempo de calidad en familia. Recuerdo que cuando era niña mi mamá se encargaba de todo los referente a las vacaciones, aprendí de ella y me gusta hacerlo.

Taking professional services to plan holidays is a good idea, and even with that you had quite a lot on your plate to take care of. Taking a holiday in a tour group has it's pros and cons, sometimes they turn out to be very hectic since you have to move around fast with everyone, but at the same time it's lot of fun also with a big group by your side. It really looks a very nice holiday.
Yes, I really liked hiring this service, especially because they took care of the boat transfers and placing us on the best beaches. But the schedules were hectic.
