Saludos a todas las mamis de esta hermosa comunidad, hoy me sumo al Desafío de la Semana sobre el "Primer Cumpleaños de mi hijo"
Greetings to all the mommies in this beautiful community, today I am joining the Challenge of the Week on "My Son's First Birthday."
Si aún no eres madre, te puedo comentar que el primer cumpleaños no llega tan rápido como uno cree ya que los primeros 6 meses son tan intensos que parecen que han durado mucho. Otra cosa que debo destacar es que a esa edad los bebés no se acuerdan mucho de la fiesta o celebración que se realice así que tienes dos opciones hacer un cumpleaños donde los adultos son los que disfrutan de los abrebocas y torta o realmente haces un cumpleaños donde disfruten los niños. En nuestro caso el primer cumpleaños fue una piscinada con los amiguitos de Ivan.
If you are not a mother yet, I can tell you that the first birthday does not come as fast as you think it will since the first 6 months are so intense that they seem to have lasted a long time. Another thing I must point out is that at that age babies don't remember much of the party or celebration so you have two options: make a birthday where the adults are the ones who enjoy the snacks and cake or really make it a birthday where the kids enjoy it. In our case the first birthday was a pool party with Ivan's friends.
A Ivan siempre le ha gustado chapotear en el agua, ya sea bañándolo o en la playa, así que sabíamos que esta piscinada la iba a disfrutar al igual que sus amigos, así que fue una idea genial. Costó muchísimo sacar a esos chicos del agua, no querían dejar la piscina pero una vez que lo logramos, todos se cambiaron y se pusieron su mejor pinta para cantar el cumpleaños y picar la torta.
Ivan has always loved splashing around in the water, either in the bath or on the beach, so we knew he was going to enjoy this pool party as much as his friends, so it was a great idea. It took a lot to get those kids out of the water, they didn't want to leave the pool but once we did, they all changed and put on their best look to sing the birthday song and nibble on the cake.
Y como pueden ver el cumpleañero siempre ha sido de buen comer hacia los dulces, así que no respetó la etiqueta y protocolo y se embarró completo jajaja!
And as you can see the birthday boy has always been a good eater towards sweets, so he didn't respect etiquette and protocol and got all messed up hahaha!
Al rato las consecuencias de comer mucho se empezaron a manifestar en el cumpleañero ya que al ver esos ojos llorosos sabíamos que eran señal inequívoca que la torta ya iba camino al pañal jajaja!
After a while, the consequences of eating too much began to manifest themselves in the birthday boy because when we saw those watery eyes we knew they were a clear sign that the cake was already on its way to the diaper hahaha!
Fue un cumpleaños hermoso, y doy gracias a Dios de estar en plena era digital lo que permite atesorar estos bellos momentos y gracias al reto de esta semana volví a revivir la emoción que sentimos como padres del primer cumple de nuestro bebé.
It was a beautiful birthday, and I thank God that we are in the digital age which allows us to treasure these beautiful moments and thanks to this week's challenge I relived the excitement we felt as parents on our baby's first birthday.
