Here is the second entry of an ongoing series of posts highlighting the scale of Alaska.
Photography has become a side effect of my adventures in Alaska. I used to go out solely to take pictures. I found that my work felt forced and not authentic. Now, I take my camera with me wherever I go and allow the images to come naturally. I've found that most of my favorite pictures come from when I am just out enjoying the moment and happen to have my camera with.
There's something intensely special about being in an isolated location with a few close friends. You leave every trouble or worry you had behind at the trail head. I've met some of the most genuine and welcoming people in places you would expect to be all alone.
Thank you for reading! If you enjoyed this, please consider upvoting, commenting, and following. I am currently working on longer and more in depth stories about my adventures in Alaska and abroad. I'd love to hear your feedback :)

It is amazing what putting a person in a shot of those epic landscapes can add. These are gorgeous. Alaska looks incredible.
