As much as US tech giants I.e. #Google are seen as the enemy, it seems like social media & hardware companies coming from China are far worse for consumers
But is it good that the US can ban American corps from working with Chinese corps? @anonymouser

If there is one good thing that can come out of US-China economic war, that would be people learning more about how messed up things are in both sides. Of course China is the worse offender. But let's not forget that many US authorities are actually jealous of this fact.
While the United States, United Kingdom, China, and Russia do heavy surveillance on humanity, the only thing we can do right now regarding anything on the Internet is to choose the lesser evil(s). The US (and UK) citizens still have some free speech ability left.
Poeple having the ability to speak freely makes governments and companies at least a bit afraid of making evil actions. Maybe there will be another Edward Snowden, but most likely not in China or Russia.
Thank you @anonymouser, I always enjoy learning from your insight 🙂👍
Mostly yes. Most people won't bother making workarounds to download those Chinese apps. However, it will anger
the CCPChina more, and those American corps profiting from Chinese products. What I mean is whether or not it's good that the US Government has now set the precedent for being able to ban apps.
What would happen if say, they wanted to ban #DBuzz?
It is technically impossible to ban D.Buzz without banning the entire Hive community itself. And if they do ban Hive, people could just use either VPN or Tor to access Hive freely.
So it's like a war in social media.
