Hyperinflation basically destroys the economy since there is a rapid increase in the amount of money in circulation that is not matched by a similar increase in the amount of goods and services in the economy.

One of the immediate causes of hyperinflation is the government's decision to print large amounts of money (inorganic money) to finance a fiscal deficit; which translates into an excess of money supply, which as we said is not related to the growth of the production of goods and services. This can lead to a vicious circle, where more inflation develops without ever achieving market equilibrium or stability.
