Here I am participating in Round 250 of the community’s best creative contest, “Let’s Make a Collage,” where we’re given an image as a starting point to let our imaginations run wild and turn it into something completely different; in this round, we were given two images: a lighthouse and a horse. I transformed it to create this scene where, through a large window, a woman with a deep gaze contemplates a dreamlike landscape where melancholy and hope intertwine. Outside, an old wooden boat and a white lighthouse lie stranded on a dry plain, guarded by a piebald horse under the radiant sun; the vibrant yellow flowers and blue butterflies add freshness, life, and a touch of magical realism to the scene..... I used Photoshop CS5 Extended to create my collage; I hope you like it.
