Hello Steemians,
I Hope you are doing great, finally Weekend is here.
Well, today I am gonna share most dangerous yet beautiful part of my Spiti Journey that was the road that led to Mighty KunZum Pass.

This mighty pass is a gateway which leads to Spiti Valley while coming from Manali (Himachal Pradesh, India) side, situated at an altitude of 4551 meters above the sea level, this mighty pass is one of the India's Highest motorable mountain pass. A lot of bikers from around the globe visit this place to experience the thrill and adventure in driving at such height.

The place has temple of Goddess Kunjum which is located on the top and it guards the pass from evil power which is belived by near by people. There's a beautiful lake named as ChandarTaal Lake (Moon Lake) which is around 15 Kilometers from this pass. This mighty pass separates Lahaul valley from Spiti valley and is at higher altitude than Rohtang Pass.

There is no place to stay near this pass as this is barren and isolated. Nearest village to halt for night is Losar coming from Kaza side while coming from Manali side you can spend night at Batal in huts.

As the sun was getting down when we reached this pass the place was turning into more horrifying place because there was no one around for miles and we were scared as hell.

I really want to visit this Pass during the day time and experience the atmosphere over there. For me this place force you to think about you and your life and how tiny you are infront of the mystic nature.
Thank You

WOW! This pass is amazing! The ones are Switzerland are just little brothers and sisters of this one! It looks rough and dangerous but the views are breathtaking. Did you sleep at the glamping site?
Thank You So much @delishtreats :D
yea brothers and sisters Switzerland have high slopes too....
Roads at such heights are always dangerous ..... No actually we didnt sleep at that site because we were worried about the phone calls and this site was free from signals :D
Thank You for checking out
Hahaha :D That is a good reason not to sleep there :) So where did you sleep at the end?
We stopped by at Batal in an igloo made of fibre 🤩 it was so cold out there

Stress free zone? Are not your body and brain under stress at such altitude? Maybe if you have adapted, then no...
Ah, well, Moon lake pancakes... or roti, or something... I feel calm already.
Well if we cover distance slowly like about 100 kilometres a day they we feel relaxed or else we suffer from acute mountain sickness here bro
How do you know about roti bro ??

I know Indologists. They visited Ladakh and Agra... and other places. And I have been invited to their cooking sessions - things I remember as tanduri roti, shah i panir, ladu... I don't know exactly how to spell those.
Besides, there's a nice Indian restaurant not far from where I live in Sofia now. Called Gurkha I think.
Wao Tanduri roti Shahi Paneer Ladu ..... you spelled them correctly...
So did you eat them ?
Yes, some other stuff, too.
