Financial feelings

A lot of people talk about technology, community and stuff of that nature when asked what motivates them to use blockchain based platforms, to the extent that it's almost a meme at this point. Yeah monnies do get mentioned at some point but in sort of a round about way as if they are not the main goal we are all after when spending a lot of time and sometimes fiat to get some pixels on a screen that might be worthless in a few years. That being said I was pleasantly surprised when the master of tasks ( also know as taskmaster4450 - not gonna tag him become I'm not an attention whore ) said it directly that it it's always been mostly about the mulla. Even so I find it hard to understand where he finds the energy to create so much content on Hive, but I guess he has realized ( a long time ago) like most of us that there are very few chances we'll get to become financially independent and crypto is the best shot we have.
It's not easy using platforms that are always under construction basically, with a lot of rough edges and limited functionality sometimes but we put up with these in the hopes some day it will be worth it. Maybe future me will see this post and smile while thinking "how could I have doubted all this ?'' :)

I find the motivation in helping to provide the opportunities that hopefully millions can take advantage of around the world.

We have the potential to change lives. That is what keeps driving me. We all have a part to play and help others find theirs.

Until there is massive abundance (the industry is worth a few hundred trillion), we cant escape that people are locked into a world of scarcity. So we deal with the rough edges, the hiccups, to keep things moving along.

Ultimately others will have an easier time. For example, @splinterlands is working better than ever and is making a lot of people some nice bank. It is great to see even though I am not much of a gamer. But many on here are seeing their financial futures change as a result of the work put in by that team.

If we multiple that across 20 or 30 applications/games, imagine the difference we would be making.

your massive replies always put my posts to shame :P . If we had 20/30 apps like splinterlands we would be sitting pretty comfortably at $2 or $3 per hive
