Taxing rain is no more absurd than socialist senior logic whereby having turned the magic age of 62 they've got money to recover from the working poor's every paycheck! Being gifted 24 trillion dollars national debt is nothing compared to the working poor's inheritance of "the nation", why it's a gift that will never stop giving, because giving is taking after all...right?
Why surely magic begets magic and as the deficit spending outpaces the unfunded liabilities, and the GMO food agenda is catalyst to heathcare revenue, and Marco Rubio's anti-first amendment anti-BDS bill is all about American Patriotism, and spraying 20 million tons of nanotech aluminum aerosols into the stratosphere each year continues to trap heat in the atmosphere, which causes more frozen methane deposits to be released, which decreases the amount of rain that can be produced because rain droplets condense on aluminum and remain suspended instead of falling as rain, and then wildfires rage increasingly around the globe, ultimately proving to Professor Krugman and highly credentialed magicians that taxing rain is completely rational, in fact the only error is it isn't taxed enough!
If only citizens didn't delegate rights they don't have as individuals to collectives (governments) why they wood be magic-rich, but who am I kidding, those are some damn good entertaining magicians out there doing all that hard work counting rain drops and square footage, and it would hurt the economy if they got kicked out of their jobs, causing them working poor paychecks to shrink and next you know all those useful socialist seniors might not feel so magically confident in their unearned sense of superiority, and I know some of them read somewhere that Mark Twain said to somebody, "Respect your superiors...if you have them."
Just between you(s) me and the fence post, when it comes to humans, I prefer the company of chickens. Blame it on the magic.
