b. As you all know, I remain committed to achieving the HiveBuzz seal called Power Up Month, where I must publish continuously every day of October. For this reason, I am allowing myself to write about any topic, even topics where I am not knowledgeable, or even topics outside my comfort area.
How can a text that mentions "slavery" fit into a motivational Monday? Well, that's what I propose to reflect on with you today!

(Image source: pexels.com)The Brazilian community is very small here at Hive, which is why we are easily recognized among ourselves, and we are still able to use several different channels to communicate. One of these channels is the WhatsApp group related to Splinterlands, in which a significant part of Hive's Brazilian users participate.
In this group today a question arose about how it would be possible to remove an inappropriate post made by the user here at hive, while it was quickly informed that it would not be possible to delete the post, but it was recommended the edition informing that this is content improperly published in duplicate, in order to avoid receiving duplicate votes.
At this point our discussion raised two words, which are freedom and transparency.
I have always been very fascinated by the way blockchain exposes everything and everyone. I believe there are two great moments for new users:
- Extreme difficulty in logging into Hive (due to protocols related to security keys)
- The impossibility of removing content.
As soon as I realized that it was impossible to erase my trace here in this web3 world, I took the greatest care in what I would publish as a "digital life" guideline, as it would not be possible to regret it later.
Even if I don't have the necessary skill to navigate to the blocks produced with all the hive information, I know that it is fully possible to "read" anything that has been written by anyone at any time. I think this phrase deserves to be highlighted, let's color it:
This is scary, if you think about a web2 world.
It's really scary to think that I can know in just a few clicks how many tokens you have in your wallet. I may know that you voted 100% on one friend's post but voted 40% on another's post. I may know what you wrote and, after regretting it, edited it.
Yes, because there is technically no possibility of deleting it. Everything that is done here is eternal. Wait a minute, this sentence also deserves a little color.
That's why, ladies and gentlemen, we are slaves to transparency! And I think it's great that this is the case, as it is a brand impossible to replicate on the web2.
I also think it's great because it forces us (us, hivers) to eternally commit to the opinion we express in a post or comment. Committing to our opinion at that historical moment, and necessarily having to recognize a possible change of thought in the future.
Ha, how I love being part of this social experiment that is being a slave to transparency!

Por este motivo, estou me permitindo escrever sobre qualquer assunto, mesmo nos tópicos onde não sou conhecedor, ou mesmo assuntos fora da minha área de conforto.
Como pode um texto que cita "escravidão" se encaixar em uma segunda-feira motivacional? Bom, isso é o que eu me proponho a refletir com vocês no dia de hoje!

(Image source: pexels.com)A comunidade brasileira é bem reduzida aqui na Hive, motivo pelo qual somos facilmente reconhecidos entre nós, e ainda conseguimos utilizar diversos canais diferentes para se comunicar. Um desses canais é o grupo de whatsapp relacionado à Splinterlands, que uma parte significativa dos usuários brasileiros da Hive tem participação.
Neste grupo hoje surgiu uma dúvida sobre como seria possível remover uma postagem indevida realizada pelo usuário aqui na hive, ao passo que foi rapidamente informado que não seria possível apagar a postagem, mas foi recomendada a edição informando que trata-se de um conteúdo publicado indevidamente em duplicidade, de forma e evitar o recebimento de votos também em duplicidade.
Neste ponto nossa discussão levantou duas palavras, que são liberdade e transparência.
Eu sempre fui muito fascinado pela forma como a blockchain expõe tudo e a todos. Acredito que existem dois grande momentos para os novos usuários:
- A dificuldade extrema em entrar na Hive (devido aos protocolos relacionados às chaves de segurança)
- A impossibilidade de remover conteúdo.
Tão logo me dei conta que era impossível apagar meu rastro aqui neste mundo web3, tomei como diretriz de "vida digital" o maior cuidado pelo que viria a publicar, já que não seria possível se arrepender depois.
Mesmo que eu não tenha a habilidade necessária para ir navegar até os blocos produzidos com toda a informação da hive, eu sei que é plenamente possível "ler" qualquer coisa que tenha sido escrita por qualquer um em qualquer momento. Acho que essa frase merece destaque, vamos colorir:
Isso é assustador, se você pensar num mundo web2.
É realmente assustador pensar que eu posso em poucos cliques saber quantos tokens você tem na sua carteira. Posso saber que você votou com 100% na postagem de um amigo mas votou com 40% na postagem de outro. Eu posso saber o que você escreveu e, depois de ter se arrependido, editou.
Sim porque não existe tecnicamente a possibilidade de apagar. Tudo que é feito aqui, é eterno. Pera ai, essa frase também merece uma corzinha.
É por isso, senhoras e senhores, que somos escravos da transparência! E acho ótimo que assim o seja, pois é uma marca impossível de ser replicada pela web2.
Acho ótimo também por que nos obriga (nós, hivers) a se comprometer eternamente com o a opinião que emitimos numa postagem ou comentário. Se comprometer com nossa opinião naquele momento histórico, e forçosamente ter de reconhecer uma eventual mudança de pensamento num futuro.
Ha, como eu adoro fazer parte deste experimento social que é ser escravo da transparência!
