Alternative to Hiveonboard?

in #hive2 days ago

It seems that https://hiveonboard.com seems to have gone away. That's too bad. I used it to get some people onto Hive (though very few did much). Still, it was useful and easy to give someone a link and with a few clicks, they're in.

What I'd like to do is offer a link to someone interested. I looked at PeakD and it seems like it used Hiveonboard as the guts. Ecency I seemed to not have enough RCs. I couldn't figure it out on Hive.blog

So, my questions...

  • Do we have a good Hiveonboard alternative?
  • Is there a process that I'm missing for front ends?
  • Is there another way?
  • Is there another tool? (Somebody recently blogged about a new tool, but I've forgotten what it was called!)

I go by @crrdlx or "CR" for short. See all my links or contact info at https://linktr.ee/crrdlx.

Ecency offers everything needed for onboarding, as I know.

I looked there, but couldn't figure it out. I'm sure it's just me.

One thing #Ecency's onboarding feature can add is the VIP Tickets feature where someone can directly be onboarded without providing their email address first (and the referrer will be set as the recovery account). 🤔😎😏 !HOPE !LOLZ

Where is this? I couldn't find it.

You can find #Ecency's onboarding page at https://ecency.com/signup/free !INDEED. 😎🤓 !LOLZ

Hivedapps.com works well

Thanks, will take a look.

I have an alternative, Hive Invite Cards. Have you tried them? They can be distributed physically, or by email, and I have distribution bots on Telegram and Discord.

Ahh, that's the one I saw and let slip my mind. I'll take a look again, thanks.

I saw a post about it, and their FOSS code is on GitHub. 🤔😎🤓 !INDEED !LOLZ

This one is still working.
