Hello everyone, I just wanted to share the blooming flowers I see along the way. They are beautiful to me, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

When we were leaving for the beach, I noticed this pink orchid flower on the side of the road near the gas station. Actually, I see it every time we get gas for our motorcycle, and I really like this flower. I wanted to ask for a plant, but I am too shy. I still have to work up the courage to ask, haha.
Hays! I really want this flower! 😖

This Barbadian lily grows here in our little forest, and there are quite a few of them. It is orange in color, and when you pull it out, what you get looks like garlic.

There are so many bardadian lilies, and I remember when we were kids, we would put it's flowers in a tin and fill it with water, then we would take them to the altar every time we went to catechesis. And we would be given tickets and snacks every afternoon, so I really wanted to bring flowers even Santan, hehe.

I also saw this Madre de cacao flower, which is a tree that blooms purple. I think it's cute, but it's so tall that I can't get a close-up shot. I only see it on the road and look at it.

Another flower that blooms in our backyard is the Singaporean daisy, which my son and niece chose. They pick it up and play with it. But they call it a "sunflower" because it resembles a sunflower but its smaller.

There is a pinto peanut still growing outside our house. It was planted by my mother and even after a long time, it is still growing. It's flowers are yellow, which are visited by flies.
This is what my mother used to plant outside the house instead of Bermuda grass because it blooms and it gets very muddy outside the house when it rains, so she wanted to plant it to somehow alleviate the mud.

That's all I can share today, I just want to say Thankyou for your unwavering support of my post. Peace and love. 🫶🏻
Aww, this really reminds me of Flores de Mayo. We did something similar. We would collect flowers from everywhere in the village to fill our little baskets decorated with ribbons. We gathered calachuchi, santan, daisies, and more. Then we would dress up in white dresses with white flower headdresses and go to church every Saturday carrying baskets full of flowers.
We would sing in groups facing the altar while throwing the flowers at the same time. When we finished, our little baskets would be empty, and they would fill them with biscuits. We wouldn’t eat them immediately because we had to check them first, see what kinds we got, and then show them to our parents. Lol.
The flowers of Madre de cacao are used for skin conditions such as insect bites, eczema, fungal infections, and allergies. They can be crushed and applied directly to the skin, or gently boiled in water (not too hot) and then used on the affected area. 😀
