RE: Rumors flying about LIV golf shutting down

I believe they are shutting down as not only golf, but the Saudi football league are cutting back on spending. This was seen as sports washing by spending vasts amounts of money they could improve the name of Saudi around the world especially wen they are known to have a bad reputation for human rights. They had offered certain footballers big money to lure them to their leagues and if rumors are correct those deals have now been removed. The recent events with bombings in the kingdoms has changed their perspective on what is important and having a decent air force and army is their priority now.

these are cool. I'm glad this is done.

I didn't even know it was Saudi-based until that was pointed out in the media. I think they were kind of trying to keep that hidden but obviously it was going to come out. I don't know a great deal about Saudi Arbracadabra other than the fact that I have no desire to ever go there.

I liked PGA having competition but then again, it isn't like UFC where they use their monopoly to rip off the competitors. People in golf, even those that don't win tournaments, make a very very good living.
