This event celebrated urban culture, music, food, and community engagement, and was held at Estação Nova, which has been closed to rail traffic since January 2025 as part of the implementation of the Metrobus system. The building is currently undergoing a transition period and remains available to host one-off initiatives compatible with its use, such as this festival.

Tables were set up where trains once arrived and departed, and the passenger platform hosted national brewers—including the Wonder Beer Wall. About 15 different craft beer brands were present for tasting.

In addition to the food, there were other highlights, notably the “Tipos de Coimbra” exhibition, which brought visual elements of the city’s urban identity (neon signs) inside the station. The program also featured local artists doing live painting throughout the three days, as well as a musical lineup featuring various DJs.

Play areas for children to draw, vinyl record sales, and tattoo artists were other attractions offered by this festival, promoted by Brew! in collaboration with the Coimbra City Council.

PORTUGUESE VERSION

Bash – Beer Urban Fest

I love the sight of the event centre; fresh air will circulate freely. I can bet participants had value for their money. Thanks for sharing

I'm the one who should thank you for your comment. Yes, the participants enjoyed it very much.

What I can say is that I just wished I was there. Beer festivals are always fun and this one being in Portugal I am sure had a lots of that.

This one was very popular. In Portugal, an interesting culture of craft beer festivals is starting to emerge.

A breathtaking series of magnificent photos! 🤩🤩🤩
