I wouldn't have had the means to actually post videos on here and show the world what I do if it wasn't for dtube so a big thanks goes to dtube for making it posting for me to share videos of my work on steemit, I really do believe dtube will overshadow YouTube in time come, infact the time is already near and am very glad I am a part of it already,... Thanks to dtube once again!
THE JOURNEY SO FAR
Indeed 2017 was the most challenging year for me . Ironically , it is also my best year .
Having graduated in 2016 with a degree in Accounting from the university of Port Harcourt , I felt the jobs were going to come knocking straight at my door because of the versatility of my course and more so because I felt I had the capacity to improve any organization that employs me
My graduation came with mixed feelings . I had submitted several application letters to different organizations but nothing positive came forth . Being the most senior sibling in my family , the thoughts of helping my mom to fend for my younger siblings weighed down on me . She had spent all her savings to see me through school ever since dad died.
Back to why I regard 2017 as my best year .
I started a small poultry and snailery farm with the little funds I saved back in the university and the monetary gifts I got on my convocation day .
It was one of the toughest decisions I've taken as I knew next to nothing about Agriculture before I kicked off. I only did a feasibility study and bought what my money could afford........
Today I have a fair number of birds and snails and I sell at a fair amount . Ive not made enough money from it yet but I'm glad that I'm trying to satisfy a specific human need . And I thank Steemit for this opportunity to showcase my business to the world
I urge other females out there to try and create jobs for themselves .There is so much to do if you really want to work and earn money for yourself.
I want to say a big thank you to Steemit for offering me this platform to showcase my business to the world and inspire other females too .
