yup, probably the descendants of ancient aliens who crashed in China.

Who knows. Maybe it happened. I wish there were real research put into these subjects. Right now we don't have enough evidence on many things. We only have reasonable doubts regarding the popular history.

I love the line in there about how Asia was mysterious, why don't they just call it the orient if they are going to have a Eurocentric and parochial viewpoint?

The biggest news here is that CNN is actually reporting news. That's huge. I've been a skeptic of the migration theory too. It just had too many holes.

Migrations should have happened in decentralized ways instead of everybody suddenly starting an exodus.

This is great! More support for evidence that has already disproved the OOA (out of africa) theory.

It takes only a few years walking a moderate pace to traipse from S. Africa to E.Kamchatka. People walked a lot, for a long time. People are made to be endurance runner/walkers. It's really unreasonable to suppose people didn't use their most striking physical trait to the fullest.

Thanks!

First question I had to ask about the original theory was: "Why all at once as one event?" Also, evolution could have happened in multiple places at once and similar traits got developed as answers to similar problems.

The theory, as much archeological theory does, relied on a limited body of evidence that permits many interpretations. Discoveries of hominid remains ~7MYA from the Balkans disproved OOA long ago. The genetic research that indicated that all surviving DNA came from a single lineage disregards that lineages die out for many reasons, and only one of them is that the individuals carrying that lineage die out.

As usual, hubris was the cause of declaring they knew the answer. As usual, the evidence eventually proved them wrong.

Very interesting article. Thank you for sharing it. Good luck to you and Love.

Thanks for visiting :)

I've tried posting on Parley and it just isn't working out. Tonight I got a assert inception or something like that.

Some websites aren't supported and sometimes leaving out the "communities" field empty or changing the "communities" tag works.
