If last week we looked at the battle without being able to use legendary cards, this week the @splinterlands team proposes to analyse the Lost magic battle condition I have to say that this battle condition especially annoys me as magic is by far my favourite attack. Still, I knew this day would have to come, so let's take a look at this awkward battle condition. Let's beg

Si la semana pasada analizamos la batalla sin poder utilizar cartas legendarias, esta semana el equipo de @splinterlands nos propone analizar la condición de batalla Lost magic. He de decir que me molesta especialmente esta condición de batalla pues la magia es, de largo, mi ataque preferido. Aún así sabía que este día tendría que llegar así que vamos a analizar esta incómoda condición de batalla. Comenzamos.
This battle condition is, unsurprisingly, one of the most influential on the strategy to be used. As we all know, there are three types of attack in Splinterlands. The appearance of an ability that removes one of these three greatly limits the options available. In a world free of magic, cards with shields are of paramount importance and that is why this must be an aspect to take into account as all attacks will have to remove the shield before damaging our cards. And this, my friends, is why Kelya Frendul is a very popular summoner in Chaos Legion edition decks.
Esta condición de batalla es, como es lógico, una de las que mas efecto tiene en la estrategia a utilizar. Como bien sabemos hay tres tipos de ataque en Splinterlands. Que aparezca una habilidad que elimina uno de esos tres limita enormemente las opciones disponibles. En un mundo libre de magia las cartas con escudo cobran una importancia capital y es por ello que esa debe ser un aspecto a tener en cuenta pues todos los ataques tendrán que eliminar el escudo antes de dañas nuestras cartas. Y este, amigos, es el motivo por el que Kelya Frendul es una invocadora cotizadísima en los mazos con cartas edición Chaos Legion.
It's easy to guess that being the water deck my best strategy and in a world without magic Kelya Frendul is going to be the summoner of choice. That extra shield point is going to be of vital importance in the development of this week's selected combat.
Es facil adivinar que siendo el mazo de agua mi mejor estrategia y en un mundo sin magia Kelya Frendul va a ser la invocadora elegida. Ese punto extra de escudo va a ser de vital importancia en el desarrollo del combate seleccionado esta semana.
As a tank I choose Diemonshark. A powerful tank with a powerful attack and, most importantly under these conditions, a more than remarkable number of shield points that, in the absence of magic, will be a very difficult wall to overcome in the first round of combat.

In second position Tide Biter with his Reach ability that deals damage from second position. He also has a good speed that can anticipate my opponents.

The usual presence of Venari Marksrat appears here as well. You know, wishing he'd die that brings an extra to his adjacent cards.

Behind Marksrat comes Pelacor Bandit. Another regular card in the water deck, especially in mana-limited battles. Two attack points with the ability to attack from the second line.

My opponent in this interesting battle is @kolosfouggi who will be using a fire deck with the fearsome Yodin Zaku as his summoner. However, his strategy won't be enough to overcome my extra defensive line-up which will have no trouble resisting the opponent's onslaught. Diemosnhark will play a prominent role in the development of the fight. Let's check it out.

Sin embargo, su estrategia no va a ser suficiente para doblegar mi extra defensiva alineación que no tendrá problemas en resistir los embates del rival. Diemosnhark va a tener un papel destacado en el desarrollo del combate. Vamos a comprobarlo.
As you can see in the battle I'm taking as an example, having cards with shields has been more than determinant to give me the victory it is also true that Angelic Mandarin and his healing have been important, but the shield that all my cards had has given me an advantage that has been key to take the victory. In a world without magic that can ignore defences, increasing the amount of this attribute is the smartest tactic.
Como has podido ver en la batalla que tomo como ejemplo, tener cartas con escudo ha sido más que determinante para darme la victoria. también es cierto que Angelic Mandarin y su curación han sido importantes, pero el escudo que tenían todas mis cartas me ha dado una ventaja que ha sido clave para llevarme la victoria. Y es que en un mundo sin magia que pueda ignorar las defensas, aumentar la cantidad de este atributo es la táctica más inteligente.
