Dieffenbachia longispatha is a large species of flowering plant known for its long, elongated spathe and large, dark green leaves. It is a robust, herbaceous perennial that can grow up to 3.5 meters tall and is often used as an easy-to-care-for houseplant. This plant thrives in warm, humid, tropical environments and is pollinated by scarab beetles.

Characteristics
Size: Can grow to be a large plant, reaching 1.5 to 3.5 meters tall.

Leaves: Large, oblong-elliptic, and dark green on the upper surface, with a slightly paler underside.

Stem: Robust and can be prostrate at the base before becoming erect.
Inflorescence: Features a long, creamy or pale green spathe and a densely arranged spadix.
Fruit: Produces bright yellow to orange berries that mature during the dry season.
