Today is Community Day in Pikmin Bloom so I had expected to be engaged with that on my walk this morning. Things started out all right, I was able to fight three challenges and get some nectar for the new Camellia flower. But when I was able to pop some big flowers into blooming they came out as poinsettias, which is the special flower from last month, rather than the new one. I’m pretty sure I wasn’t spreading poinsettia petals, maybe someone else had done that before I passed the flowers and they imprinted on that? Whatever the reason it kind of squashed my enthusiasm. I did eventually see a camellia bloom on my way home but it didn’t counteract my sour mood. I may go out for another walk later, to see if I can encounter more of the flower that’s supposed to be the star of the event.
