Oceans & Cloud

Mirror of the ocean

a reflection of itself

Into the future is the moon

the tides sway to its way

...

Call unto the sea

withness the bells of love

birth the gods of the sky and waters

all in a drop of madonna

...

Deeper than eyes could see

Pressure from within

Energies rebirth

Aroused by the cry of the storm

...

Still waters, troubles with no curve

Gentle breeze with discrete whispers

walking by the nights

As the world was new

...

Colour the world

Lay golden carpets in the sky

Usher a new day

To caress the night with your glimmering light

There is a beautiful serenity to this poem dante

Still waters, troubles with no curve
Gentle breeze with discrete whispers

That whispers of balmy sunsets

Colour the world
Lay golden carpets in the sky

and a feeling of nostalgia.
Lover the imagery you create :)

Raj highlighted the same lines I was going to call attention to!
This is lovely. The rhythm makes me think of Matthew Arnold's Dover Beach, with a very simple opening line,

The sea is calm tonight.
The tide is full, the moon lies fair
Upon the straits...

But the tone changes:

Come to the window, sweet is the night-air!
Only, from the long line of spray
Where the sea meets the moon-blanched land,
Listen! you hear the grating roar
Of pebbles which the waves draw back, and fling,
At their return, up the high strand,
Begin, and cease, and then again begin,
With tremulous cadence slow, and bring
The eternal note of sadness in.

And by the end, we get the ignorant armies clashing by night.

Your poem leaves me with the tranquility, not Arnold's strife, and I am grateful for that. :)

I'm glad you found this amazing, Carol.

Trying something different. Took a cue from the community challenge sorta. Complements accepted. Gonna have a lot of time to be creative. City is going on full lockdown in the next 24 hours.

Nice poetry with powerful rhythm

Thanks fam.
