Higher Elevation, More Snow

Earlier that day we were at a lower elevation in Canmore, Alberta. Surprising how some elevation gain can change the terrain so drastically. Up here around Goat Pond there was certainly more snow than at lower areas. A bit of overnight snow also made the lakeside trail sort of a trudge to walk.
