Lower Rowe Lake

DSC09966.jpeg

After I was able to calm down from seeing them bears swim across the lake, I sat down and soaked in the gorgeous scenery around me. Had a few cool sips of water and a light lunch. Wow this was great! Serenity in the mountains. Then a thought occurred to me, those bears were headed in the same direction as the trail back…was going to be a fun trip back — must be extra cautious on the way back. As of now, luckily, I have never had to deploy my bear spray even once! Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for the share.

Just looking at the lake water and the scenery across the lake is a joy. Seeing a bear swimming is truly remarkable. You're truly lucky.

Yes, I do consider myself lucky! An epic hike it was.

Stunning pictures. If I didn't know before now, I'd have enough it was impossible for a body of water to have such a greenish tint, absolutely breathtaking.

Very typical for our Canadian mountain fed lakes. Thanks!

Wow, wish I can get to see them someday

The view is amazing, the forest till the very begin of the lake is not common... Too bad for the bears, they are no joke

Definitely a great adventure, minus the scares.

😀 Impressive landscapes @daveks friend!!!!

What a pretty lake! Glad you didn't encounter them up close and personal on the way back. That must have made the return trip a lot more spooky for you, I would have been paranoid around every turn that they might be hanging out along the trail somewhere!

Glad you got to enjoy such a pretty place. Maybe next time you can do the upper one as well!
