This is more or less a continuation of yesterday’s post, where I pulled over by the roadside a couple of times on the return journey from Blakiston falls and Red Rock canyon. A photographers dream with unlimited photo ops to behold all around. This old log made for a great prop in this mountainous landscape, and also a decent place to relax and take a load off! Thanks for stopping by.

That fallen long got me thinking of the petrified forest in Arizona. You can be driving along the freeway and see petrified trees laying across the ground off the sides of the road, it's really cool. There's a whole park full of them!

Here's a pic I found online, I'll have to dig out my pictures sometime. Awesome pictures of the Rockies up there in the great northern land!

That is really cool! I need to header down there someday for sure.

I agree with you, this place is perfect for relaxing while enjoying a cup of coffee. Surrounded by beauty, there's no end to the sights.

Add in a coffee, and it doesn't get much more perfect than that!

That view is gorgeous!

It looks like a great place to have a picnic! 😁
