I love this kind of trail. Nice and open, tall trees on both sides, a great view ahead, and most of all, NO elevation gain! Especially after a few days of tough and gruelling, some leisurely hiking is always welcome.

Where is it? I tend to always chase peaks when I hike. But taking some walks in terrain that feels more like having a break for the soul is also very clever

Ah those trails are one of my favorites! Don’t get them too often around here but it’s nice to have a flat trail with some good trees around. It often is accompanied by a lot of bugs lol but not always!
