Sea of Turquoise

in Photography Lovers4 months ago (edited)

Well this is not exactly a sea, but there is sure a lot of turquoise in this water. This is Barrier Lake, and most certainly a lot smaller than any sea or ocean. These are the introductory views to be had, as you make your way to the Prairie view lookout trailhead. Great way to start a hike wouldn’t you say? Forget the hike even, why not go for a kayak ride on this here water, or drop a fishing line in just over yonder. Ok enough contemplating, time to go hiking. Let’s go!

Those color shots take the cake today. I love that turquoise water, reminds me of my days living in the Caribbean. What a gorgeous lake, take out the Kayak with the fishing gear on board! Spring is a coming pretty soon!

The countdown has begun. Looking forward to a great summer jam packed with adventure!

Me too! It's going to be a great year in California for gold in the mountains plus you get to be out in nature away from all the hustle and bustle...

What’s not to like about that!

The lightroom helps to bring out the true beauty of the picture

A very handy tool to use!

Surprising color of the water.

Quite common among the Rockies lakes.

Nice shot's, something special about the color of that water up there, now off you go onto the trail and be safe with many more epic shot's.

Epic shots coming up soon. Thanks @shoemanchu.

Love the turquoise , those rocks look fairly heavy

Heavy rollin rocks.

Rock & Roll

The turquoise in these waters make them a showstopper anyday and yes kayaking on this beautiful water wouldn't be a bad idea.

It was incredible to experience. Thanks.
