I enjoyed another walk with my wife around Ifield Mill Pond. We were looking for the swans but couldn't see them today. This is understandable considering all the nooks and hideaways that there are here. There are multiple small islands for the birds to rest.
It was fun watching the goslings trying to follow their parents up onto the bank. The poor things were having trouble jumping the large gap where tree roots were hampering their progress. They did eventually make it up all together though after many attempts! 😆.
