After a two-months period dedicated to the development of our lightpainting community, it's time for me to to reintroduce you to my second photographic field : infrared caption.
I discovered IR photography during an exhibition in Paris. I discussed with the artist and we became friends. He was aware of lightpainting but he didn't think it was possible to push it like we do. After several chats, I realized the huge potential of IR caption and I wanted to take part to it.
During Spring 2016, I sent an APS-C Canon 600D body to a specialist who removed all inner filters from it. I used it during 3 years and I was very happy with it, learning the basics of infrared/full spectrum photography. A year ago, I decided to sell my two Canon bodies (regular and full spectrum) to have a full spectrum full frame body and use it evertime, everywhere. This is the most versatile photographic equipment I've ever had.
