Well, I bought more HIVE.
I have long made weekly BTC buys. Ever since HIVE fell below 0.2 a few months ago, I've been then sending half one of those BTC buys to trade into HIVE about every week or two. It's a gamble for sure. The safe money is probably on BTC outpacing HIVE, so I might be being dumb with my investment, but I like this place and am betting on it.
Will HIVE ever be under 20 cents again? Well, it may keep bouncing back and forth right now for awhile. That's probably a given. Until BTC breaks out of it's sideways funk, HIVE will probably also remain in this no-man's land. But after the bull run finally hits, we may never be this low again. Yes, I know we've said that before about STEEM/HIVE and we've always returned back here, but this may finally be our breakout time.
Want to gamble on that with me? I'd say it's a pretty good bet for anyone as addicted to this place as I am.
Beyond HIVE itself, the thing I am rapidly becoming most excited about here is RUG. Every week I get a dividend from RUG equal to about 10-20 DBOND. For the past few months I've been then selling that DBOND, worth around 1 HIVE each, and using that to buy more RUG.
As they say, you haven't actually made any money until you've sold, so I probably will start to take some profits on my RUG soon, but for the moment I am confident enough in it to continue reinvesting all earnings.
Check out the latest RUG post here → https://peakd.com/hive/@dailydab/rug-report-0015
From that post, you can see the results from the first 15 weeks of the project:
I don't know about you, but those are pretty fantastic results!. Even the lowest week, week 11, was still pretty good!
For those unfamiliar with RUG, I suggest you read the intro post. The short short TL;DR version is that they invest your money into DeFI projects, then bring the profits back to Hive, paying you back with a percentage of it.
Read the post for a fuller idea, but that is the basics.
I think it's a great model. Buy in if you agree!
Anyway, hope you all have a great Friday!

I'm jealous that you are able to easily buy HIVE with fiat. Not so much the case here.
One of my few advantages! Score! ;)
More seriously, I do hope they figure out a way to make HIVE more accessible to people stuck in America.
It's unlikely it will ever come to one of the major exchanges. Just having a BTC pair with a decent amount of liquidity would be fine with me.
I'll wait for 0.15 😄😄
Same here, 0,14-0,16 seems a good range
Yeah..😄
haha I'd like that too, but waiting gives no results, so I'd rather buy and use now, even if it's a bit more expensive.
Oh.. You're a risk taker.😊
That's great that RUG is doing so well! I agree we'll be bouncing up and down for a while, it's a great time to buy up some more cheap Hive for the eventual run when BTC gets out of this sideways trajectory.
Yep. Keep buying!
