It's important to remember that in Spanish the adjectives must coincide with the genre and number of the noun.
The adjectives with the vowel "e" at the end can be used for both genres.

Gran tutorial amiga @dearw, felicidades... un abrazo desde Aragua - Venezuela.
Muchas gracias Gabyto. Un abrazo!
Another great lesson! I knew most of these but did learn a few new words, thanks!
For some reason, when I hear the word "sincero" it reminds me of the song Guantanamera.
"Yo soy un hombre sincero..."
In the middle, the singer says, "the words mean - I am a truthful man..." and truthful is a synonym of sincere, as is genuine which is apparently what the Latin word "sincerus" means, which is where the word came from.
When the singer is speaking in the middle, a woman is singing in the background and her voice reminds me of your singing voice!
Do you know this song? I guess it originated in Cuba and not Venezuela, but I think it was popular worldwide. The Sandpipers version is almost whispered rather than sung, but the Celia Cruz version is much more powerful and great to dance to!
I hope you're having a wonderful week! :)
Hello!
In Spanish, when we use the word "sincero" we may be referring to a genuine person and/or a truthful person. It depends on the context.
Yes, I know the song, but I didn't know anything about this version until today. And, You're right, it's a song of Cuban origin (I had no idea about this either). Celia's songs are pure power she'll always be our "Azuuuuucar". <3
Now I'm wondering the following: Do you know how to dance salsa? You're full of surprises Mr. Kenny. Thanks for stopping by! ;)
Your friend Mr. Kenny lived in Miami Florida for some years and I learned a lot about the Spanish/Latin culture. My dance moves could use some practice, now. And besides, I'm not one to follow dance steps. I just free style and make up my own moves. But if you wanted me to dance Salsa with you, I would study it again, in order to be a worthy partner. :)
