Well, the truth is that lately, I have been experimenting a lot in the kitchen, mainly to improve my eating habits and therefore my health.
Pues la verdad es que últimamente estoy experimentando mucho en la cocina, sobre todo para mejorar mis hábitos alimenticios y por tanto mi salud.

One of the last things I prepared was a delicious spinach smoothie that, to be honest, felt good. It was very refreshing and I don't know if it's just my ideas but I also felt that it helped me alleviate a general malaise that had been with me for days. I even felt energized.
Una de las últimas cosas que preparé fue un delicioso batido de espinacas que, la verdad, me sentó muy bien. Era muy refrescante y no sé si son sólo mis ideas pero también sentí que me ayudó a aliviar un malestar general que me acompañaba desde hacía días. Incluso me sentí con energía.

This smoothie is super easy to make, you just need a small pineapple cut into chunks, fresh spinach, and one or two bananas, depending on how sweet you want it to be.
The spinach must be very clean and we have the option of adding it raw or cooked. If we are going to decide on the 2nd option we must be careful not to overcook them as they tend to reduce a lot or we will have to add a large amount of spinach.
Este batido es súper fácil de hacer, sólo necesitas una piña pequeña cortada en trozos, espinacas frescas y uno o dos plátanos, dependiendo de lo dulce que quieras que sea.
Las espinacas deben estar muy limpias y tenemos la opción de añadirlas crudas o cocidas. Si nos vamos a decantar por la 2ª opción debemos tener cuidado de no cocinarlas en exceso ya que suelen reducirse mucho o tendremos que añadir una gran cantidad de espinacas.

I decided to make it with raw spinach and although the flavor was exquisite, I must admit that the texture was not my favorite. The problem with spinach is that if it is raw it gives an earthy sensation. I don't know if I can explain it well, but it would be a matter of trying it. I also decided not to strain it and eat it as it came out of the blender.
Decidí hacerla con espinacas crudas y aunque el sabor era exquisito, debo reconocer que la textura no era mi favorita. El problema de las espinacas es que si están crudas dan una sensación terrosa. No sé si puedo explicarlo bien, pero sería cuestión de probarlo. También decidí no colarla y comerla tal y como salía de la batidora.

I liked it but I think next time I will cook the spinach to see if it changes the texture a bit. I don't like to cook it too much because I feel it loses all the nutrients but I will do it very quickly to avoid this.
Me ha gustado pero creo que la próxima vez coceré las espinacas para ver si cambia un poco la textura. No me gusta cocinarla mucho porque siento que pierde todos los nutrientes pero lo haré muy rápido para evitarlo.

Haha the earthy taste- when I eat raw leafy veggies I always describe them it’s like eating grass cos it taste like grass🤣 I’ve been seeing spinach for smoothies on the internet but I gotta find that here first. The videos and articles I’ve read don’t also cook the spinach but hopefully the cooked ones will turn out well for you.
