We have our own well. There's also a river running through our property and a 2km lake, so we're planning on a solar powered pump so we can take the water from there.
Who doesn't love a pallet. If it wasn't for pallets we'd have no floors or doors in any of our sheds.

Where do you get them from? I couldn't see any likely spots on your map:
You don't think I have a future in cartography?
Not for pallet liberators - all of ours came from street corners.
Ah, pallets. We must have at least 50 of them. Everything from the solar panels to the flat pack geodesic dome arrived on pallets.
Ah, I see! Home-grown, so to speak 😁
Hahaha. yes. And they do seem to multiply.
Oh wow that's amazing! Lucky you. Can you swim in it?
You can, but we haven't.
There are 4 quarry lakes in the area, 3 of them on municipal land and people do swim in them, though there have been 2 drownings in recent years. The helicopter rescue had to use our front lawn as a landing pad since it's the only flat piece of ground for miles.
Oh gosh. I'd swim there!!!! I'm such a water slut!!!! Is there something dangerous or were the drownings due to something else??
One of them was a youngster who dived off the cliff and hit a rock. The other, a neighbour's brother, had a heart attack.
