The third is probably Ethereum. Or maybe Ethereum is the second, and EOS is the third. The fourth is probably Tron.
According to the DappRadar, the current top dApps are on the EOS blockchain, so maybe my first guess (the second is probably EOS) is right. The current first dApp is BLUEBET (an EOS blockchain dApp) with 3152 users in the last 24 hours.
According to the Sate of the DApps, the current top dApps are on the Steem and Ethereum blockchain.
The current first dApp is MakerDAO (an Ethereum blockchain dApp) with 3078 users in the last 24 hours, but that dApp is ahead only of Steemit, not the whole Steem blockchain.
Steemit have 2870 users in the last 24 hours.
I do not count Steem "copies", for example Weku, Smoke, because the presence of these websites are also showing the high popularity of the Steem blockchain.
Unfortunately, no more. Arguably it used to be when there were more active users and other chains have just begun to develop dapps.
Sadly Steem has not made full use of the headstart and is falling behind in terms of awareness and technical performance. More people know about Tron and EOS than they do Steem.
There is much to be done to bring steem back into the limelight, while efforts will be herculean, it is not impossible.
