Lucky Day
Today at work, one of the people in electronics told me that there were a couple Xbox Series X consoles that never sold during our Black Friday event and that if I wanted one, to go and buy it as soon as possible because they are going to be gone in the next 30 mins or so. So I did what every good gamer would do and clocked out and bought one.
I wasn't expecting us to get any in the store for the rest of the year because I was told that all of our consoles are going to be reserved for online ordering only, which sucks for anyone that wants to get one at normal price because bots are the only ones that are able to place orders for these and then they all end up on Ebay for 3-4 times the normal price.
I thought about selling this one on Ebay, but I want to play it instead. One thing I love about new consoles is the packaging and presentation that goes into it. The box is covered in dark padding and the actual console is wrapped up with this cool display on it.
Too bad I have to go back to work and I can't power this bad boy up, but luckily, I have the next two days off, so I will be playing this as much as I can. I need to get my Twitch account connected and see how well streaming from the console goes.
Now I just need to try and get my hands on a PS5 when they are available because there are a few exclusives on that console that I want to play as well.

I'm a Sony dude myself, barely have the time to keep up with one, never mind both of the new consoles. I can't find a PS5 anywhere, it's annoying.
Tell me about it. They are sold out everywhere. I was originally trying to get one of those instead.
That looks quite nice. I thought of getting one, but didn't due to buying a PC. Probably will get one next year once there are more games out for it. No reason to get it right now when there's no exclusives.
Ya. Once I got it all hooked up and started playing, I realized there isn't anything made only for this console compared to my Xbox One X. Oh well. Cyberpunk is coming out soon and that will be the first next gen game I play.
I had bought Fifa and Madden for my Xbox One and they came with the Series X version also once it was supposed to come out but I couldn't get my hands on one. Do they have the new Call of Duty for Series X? I purchased that also but it didn’t come with the Series X update like Fifa n Madden did.
Yes you got lucky I tried pre ordering one was to late and been looking for one ever since it came out but it is sold out everywhere in Los Angeles area. Let us know what you think once you play. Is it worth it? Are the improvements noticeable?
There are some significant improvements in visuals and load times. Other than that, there really isn't much different between my Series X and the Xbox One X. I think as time goes by and games are released specifically for next gen consoles, it should get a bit better. I think right now it isn't that big of a deal to have a PS5 or Series X, especially with how hard it is to get your hands on them. I got lucky with getting this one and I wouldn't have gotten one otherwise because it is too much of a hassle to get one.
Yeah that is why I putt off getting one for the time being. They should of created more units before the release in my opinion but they tried rushing them out for the holidays instead.
