What we crave for, all you can eat Breakfast!

Hello, friends! Today i would like to share one of my breakfast experience yesterday. It was in Kemang restaurant. It is an international restaurant at 1st Floor of Discovery Hotel - Ancol, North Jakarta.

When i came there, it was 6.30 am so still not many people were there and luckily they hadn't mess up the food there. I like to eat neat & hygienic food.

The dining area

It was large,clean and neat. Really comfortable.

The breakfast buffets

Here they served from Asian to American breakfast. So they had so many menus. From chicken porridge, potato wedges, thailand fried fish, sausage, omelette, dimsum, corn soup, soya milk, fried rice, fried noodle, bread & dessert corner. I might be forget to mention all of it cause they had varieties of menu.
They also had appetizers here

I wanted to try all of the menu, so i only took a little of some menu to be able to try it all.

I took around 9 plates (large & small plates) and also 3 kind of drink (milk, hot tea and of course water). No orange juice that was provided yesterday, they only had soursop & also guava.

Appetizer - salad

I chose the thousand island sauce. They had olive oil, and some mayonaise too.

The vegetables & fruits were fresh. The beef bacon were savory and great.

This was the omelette, sunny side up egg and also sausages. I took 2 beef and a chicken sausage.

I added some salt to make it more savory. They served it not too savory to make everyone could enjoy it well. The omelette was just fine but i loved the half cooked sunny side up egg, it made the yellow part melted which i like. The sausages was ok.

Here was the fried rice with a bit fried noodle and fried chips.

The taste was ok, the rice on the right texture (not too soft nor hard), the fried noodle was more tasty and delicious than the rice. The fried chips were fresh.

The thailand fried fish, potato wedges and cauliflower.

The fried fish was too salty for me, potato wedges' skin were too thick and hard for me, the cauliflower was not ok for me.

The dimsum

I took shewmai & a chicken chasiew bakpao. I thought it was just so-so.
I took the sauce whixh made it tastier.

The porridge

We had to put the other ingredients on the porridge so it was tasty for mine and the porridge was ok, i thought the cakwe was just fine.

The bread corner

They had croissants, waffles, pancake, toast and so on. I took the bread then asked the chef to bake it. Then i spreaded the chocolate sauce and also put butter on its' top.

The toast was a bit soft. I didn't like the wheat bread. It was even harder.

My friend took the waffle and croissants.

I tried a bit of waffle, it was great. The mapple sauce was totally great. The waffle tasted fresh. The croissants were just fine.

The dessert coner

Hot chocolate pudding

From inside the chocolate spreaded out and the texture was a bit like soft bread for me. It tasted great, sweet and so chocolate. It also had vla sauce which was great too.

Chocolate pudding

Tasted great and i lost the first opportunity to try. Many liked it so they had to refill it again. The taste was great and soft, not to sweet and also tasty.

Overall i loved to have breakfast here with friends. The breakfast was included if you spend the night here. The normal rate was between 800,000 IDR - 1,200,000 IDR for the standard room. We didn't have to pay cause actually it was our company's team building ocassion so we was there for free. And also the service was great. The chef helped me with the bread and also the waitress were all quickly took the empty plates. It was a great experience to be there.
