Hello ASEAN friends. It's been a long time since I posted in this community... This time I want to share a story about my experience eating at a Padang restaurant at Sendowo restaurant. Surely ASEAN friends are familiar with Padang rice, right? In my personal opinion, Padang cuisine is one of the most delicious dishes ever. If you are confused about what to eat, Padang cuisine is an alternative for me.
Padang cuisine is known to have a variety of dishes and all of them are very delicious. Among the most famous is rendang which is the number 1 most delicious food according to CNN... However, I rarely choose rendang as a side dish when eating at Padang restaurants because I don't really like meat. My favorite is grilled chicken, this is what I most often choose as a side dish. However, this time when eating at the Sendowo Padang restaurant, I chose another menu, namely Tunjang. Tunjang is cow's feet cooked with curry spices until tender... This is also one of my favorite menus at Padang restaurants, but I rarely eat it because I'm afraid of cholesterol, Lol.
The last Padang restaurant I visited was Sendowo restaurant. In this restaurant, we can take the food we want to eat ourselves. From rice to side dishes, we can take as much as we want. After that, we are invited to eat first. For payment, you can do it at the cashier when you are leaving the restaurant. We just mention what we eat and the cashier will count it.
Nasi Padang is famous for its large portion, but I always finish it and never leave any food on my plate. How about you? Do you also like Nasi Padang?

It made my mouth water just thinking about all those flavorful dishes. The self-serve setup at the restaurant is perfect, no pressure, just pick what you want and enjoy at your own pace.
