If you are using Horde Groupware Webmail Edition for your emails at your organization, then chances are there exists a bug related to password. If you enter your password, then you are free to enter any text after it, still you may be able to login to the account!
Type anything after first entering your password and click login. You must be able to login to the account.
Version which I tested : horde 5.2.2
I don't know if this bug is reported before or not.
