Big bang theory "the Russian rocket reaction" episode
Subject
"Schrodinger's Friendship" & how Sheldon reacts to it.
Sheldon is treating Lenard as both a friend and a traitor because Lenard wants to go to W.Wheaten's party.
Sheldon wants to test the situation as "alive, dead or both" but Sheldon reveals he wants to do neither by saying, "[...]can you think of a simpler way to describe[...]." Well, yeah I can.
First is info:
Sheldon is not doing as he wants because he is doing both treating his friendship with Lenard as alive (a friend) & dead (a traitor) but not both or neither. Sheldon is at one time seeing the relationship as alive than at a different point in time, dead.
Now the easier ways:
Both (Alive&Dead) would require Sheldon to be completely neutral to everything involving Lenard (like not getting him a drink by being completely polite (without compliments). This would be both friendly and not friendly. Sheldon could yell as he's being nice without compliments with his no to represent friendly and traitor.
Neither is difficult. Sheldon would have refuse to acknowledge Lenard. Almost as if he is ignoring Lenard but no one could acknowledge the situation between the two.
Sheldon made a human mistake.
