Cave Story is an indie video game released on December 20, 2004, is about a robot who wakes up in a cave and then discovers that there are other species, the mimigas, from then on he will embark on an adventure to get out of the subway world and go to the surface, in addition to saving the species and the world that lies there inside an evil doctor with his accomplices to turn them all into killing machines...
Cave Story es un videojuego indie lanzado el 20 de diciembre del 2004, trata sobre un robot que despierta en una cueva y después descubre que existen otras especies, los mimigas, de ahí en adelante se embarcará en una aventura para salir del mundo subterráneo e ir a la superficie, además de salvar a la especie y el mundo que yace ahí dentro de un malvado doctor junto a sus cómplices para convertirlos a todos en máquinas de matar…
The gameplay is Metroidvania style and is very easy to learn, the controls are very simple for a platform game, you can shoot up while moving as well as shooting down.
The directional arrows (left, right) are used to move in the game, the up arrow (⬆️) is used to look up, jump with Z and shoot with X.
El Gameplay es estilo Metroidvania y es muy fácil de aprender, los controles son muy sencillos para ser un juego de plataformas, puedes disparar hacia arriba mientras te mueves al igual que si disparas abajo.
Las flechas direccionales (izquierda, derecha) sirven para moverte en el juego, la flecha direccional arriba (⬆️) sirve para mirar hacia arriba, saltas con Z y disparas con X
To change weapon, the letter A and the letter S, to view the map, the letter W.
You can quit the game by pressing Escape (Esc).

Si hablamos del juego original, los gráficos son muy antiguos y bastante pixelados aunque es normal sabiendo que lo hizo una persona en el 2004, y más si no había un programa decente para crear juegos fáciles como lo es ahora
Si bien los gráficos son pixelados esto hace que el juego sea más reconocible y también le da un toque retro bastante nostálgico…

Los personajes son los más pixelados de todo este mundo pues no son muy redondeados que digamos, tampoco tienen muchas sombras... los gráficos son hermosos para un juego de este estilo y más si lo hizo una sola persona, la verdad me conmueve este tipo de gráficos son muy nostálgicos..
Ahora bien, si hablamos del DLC (Cave Story+) y el cambio drástico que le hicieron en el remake de 3ds es otra cosa, tan solo probé el DLC y trae dos tipos de gráficos los cuales no pondré debido a que solo estoy hablando del original…
