MASS INDOCTRINATION (DAY 2)-10TH OF DECEMBER, 2024
I welcome you all to the Day 2 of the MCGI Mass indoctrination. Today, consider the church. Presently, we seem to find ourselves surrounded with different denominations under the Christiandom. The Bible made us know that there is only one church.
The word "church" according to brother Eli is a Greek Word, "Ekklesia", which means a calling out. Every Christian was being called out from darkness unto the light of God.
The church is what is assigned to a group of people that come to fellowship in the name of the Lord. Any other name used to address such gathering is wrong. You and I make up the church with Christ being the head over us.
Collossians 1:18 - And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
We were once influenced by different beliefs until we were called out by Christ and became members of the true religion. The church belongs to no man but to Christ.
Acts 20:28 - Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
How we treat our brothers under the household of faith matters. We ought to treat them the same manner Christ would have treated them if He was on earth. That is how the Church is meant to operate. It cost Christ a lot to obtain the church, therefore, we His disciples should endeavor to manage it well.

There's only one true church that is the church which Jesus Christ established. It is the church of God.
We have been called out from darkness into light by our Lord Jesus Christ for His own glory.
Christians make up the church of God and Christ the Head over it.
In the church of God we follow the doctrines of Jesus Christ
The church of God is the household of God
To join the church of God we must receive baptism when we have accepted the doctrines
As a whole church of God, we should learn how to treat each other with care and love. That’s what God wants
The church is a place where good doctrines and behaviors are learned
Whatever we learn from the church should be put to use
