Token velocity has a higher effect on price movement and stability during pumps than volume.
Remember when Steem had the highest total transactions per day. Even higher than Bitcoin and Ethereum combined and we were pumping to the heavens? I do.
Micro-blogging and using our HIVE upvotes more like 'likes', like 😅 we did back in the Steem Ages would create far more demand than everyone macro-blogging a couple times per day. It would benefit us all by increasing token velocity.
IMHO, we can’t compete against the likes of Twitter without higher—

lmao hoping to get some more on the bandwagon :)
I wish the community would embrace micro blogging more, sometimes a short snippet is all that needs to be said. That being said, my thing is I don’t want Hive turning into the hot garbage fest that Twitter is.
Personally, I think Twitter executes its mission pretty well without being full-on marketing first like Facebook, only it's subject to other centralized problems, other censorship issues, and a penchant to protect their service from losing users to newer services like HIVE.
They're user-generated content-centric services, so the hot garbage is what people post to the service. Considering the billions on there, happy users, if they were to migrate to HIVE then the hot garbage would come as well... with or without the micro-blogging.
Just my reasoning, if we want to be like the big boys we have to deal with their problems as well. Humans post a lot of hot garbage, I just think we handle it better in a decentralized manner (on HIVE).
Many of the people hired for the manual actions and direct censorship of hot garbage content end up with PTSD. ie...
This is a major issue going forward for Web3.0: Some things need to be censored and how do we handle them while restricting others?
IMO, It happens naturally with the community on HIVE, a form of community censorship. However, @thelogicaldude if someone slit their wrist live on @vimm TV, what could we do?
