Good day all, I hope this finds you well.I'm really feeling as if my short little vlogs are postcards I send out to you, so one considers what one used to write on postcards: "All is well, loving Rome, Locals clever and weather good, best to all" or some such.
This little postcard is my daily morning ritual of a fire and coffee followed by a day out. Having errands to run, I stopped at the new chain book store location. I prefer and often frequent our small independent bookshops (some not quite small) but as Barnes and Noble is now owned by Waterstones, they are opening smaller locations that focus on local books, authors and give a free reign to the staff to display their own favorites and such. It really has a 'small book shop' feel, so I stopped there.
I hope all of you have a lovely day and find a moment to indulge in your own passions, I know I try to anyway, in between errands and to-doing of course.

It was nice to watch the sun rise with you and see these snapshots of your day! It is cool that the Barnes and Noble is showcasing local authors. As a writer, hearing about this trend change is encouraging!

I never grow tired of our sunrises and sunsets, they are always so different as well.
I was happy about Barnes and Noble as it had begun to go down hill. I Love our local bookshops, too, and frequent them more often, but it's nice to have a small chain shop and the location makes it nice for doing errands and such, makes trips to the big box store more enjoyable and we can support local authors as well :)
