Our being has its limits. Everything we do in this life, there are limits and what we can achieve in this life. Strength, everything in us has limits. The only thing that can go far beyond us is just our thinking.
God does not want us to think what we are thinking right now. Because if we are in a position where God's words, we must not call ourselves that thing you are about to call yourself. It is bad to be thinking freely like that.
Romans 12 says that, For I say to you, grace, that give not to me. Every man that is among you know how to kill off himself more highly than he ought to think of himself, but according to God.
In these situations, God is the one that controls our beliefs. We cannot think more than ourselves. God is the only one that can suppress, that can regulate our ability to think and react.
Our thinking must align to the will of God.
We are not free to think whatever we want.
Only God can regulate us and can give us
what we actually desire or need.
