My Actifit Report Card: May 11 2026

Happy Monday Actifiters!

Well, I had originally planned to get up earlier this morning so I could go for a run /jog. Unfortunately I did not get myself out of bed when I needed to. So that's a bit of a bummer. It's the kind of thing that I have got to figure out though so that I can stick with my goal of running a 10K.

Today wasn't a total loss though. Because I didn't get up and run this morning, I knew I had to make sometime for activity. So I did. I often do and took my lunch break to go for a walk. Maybe it's all for the best though, as I was walking. Some soreness in my legs so maybe the extra day to recover will be beneficial. I may also need to look into a different alarm 🙂

The walk was sure nice though, and it was great to be able to get some fresh air, soak up some sunshine, and stretch my legs after sitting all morning.

I'm going to try again tomorrow to get up early so that I can do my run. My goal is to keep it up for at least 2 weeks before I sign up for the race. The race isn't overly expensive, but I want to prove to myself that I have some level of commitment of doing it before I pay for the race. Maybe that's backwards thinking but for now that's where I'm at.
