I am very fortunate that I have spent the last two years cruising all over the world and visiting and living around the world and I was a few years younger. I can't help thinking that life as I knew before will never be the same. Even if things go back to seemingly normal oh, I don't think I will ever have that Carefree feeling that I've had since I was a teenager traveling.
I do love the bangle but you are right with the lighthouse being far more extravagant. I absolutely adore lighthouses and I have been making arrangements to stay in one as a Airbnb this year. I can only imagine how cool that would have felt to wake up there. When I was young my dad used to take us out on the boat to get us out of her mother's hair. She has nine children. Anyway oh, many times we would drop anchor and sleep overnight on one of the islands in New England I remember waking up to you the tide Rolling In and Out. I do love the ocean!
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your wonderful words!
#MarketFriday loves you!

I traveled extensively in my youth, am very glad I did. Totally agree things will never be the same, actually have not been since 9/11 way too many rules implemented, now it will only become worse.
A lighthouse on an island would be a dream come true for at least six months to totally relax, replenish mind and soul, never stop dreaming it is healthy...
Growing up we were four children, holidays always by train travel, another thing sorely missed. Your dad taking you out on a boat must have been fun, a wonderful experience, we were sent into the garden to do chores more often than not, or play outside.
Haha! Yes!!! When we were home during the season of growth, the older kids were sent to the garden to weed after dinner! I think they just liked keeping us out of trouble. ;)
Each child given set chores, family all worked together no pay, no excuses once your chores were done you were free to go play till the sun went down. Just seemed to work like a well oiled machine don't you think?
