Hola comunidad de #Hive me complace compartir con ustedes este cover del tema “Japonesa” de Mau&Ricky que decidí montar con una de mis mejores amigas y en lo personal una de las artistas más talentosas que hay, Alannis Serrano. La historia de cómo decidimos grabarla es un poco cómica porque no fue nada planeado y de un día para otro, sin complicaciones ni titubeos. Escuchamos el tema que originalmente es en reggaetón y en nuestra lluvia de ideas surgió la idea de versionarla, hacerla más única, más de nosotros. Mau&Ricky son cantantes venezolanos, hijos del gran Ricardo Montaner, han tenido una evolución muy marcada desde 2016 hasta la actualidad. Se dedicaron a la música desde 2010 comenzaron con el rock, luego con baladas pero fue en estos últimos 4 años que comenzaron a crear contenido más jovial, Reggaetón, merengue, pop, entre otros, y empezaron a alcanzar la fama. En cuanto a música y composición se hicieron notar cada vez más, logrando mucho en tan poco tiempo (relativamente) y el estilo que adoptaron hasta ahora fue lo que nos atrapó a Alannis y a mi haciéndonos seguidores de sus canciones y aunque “Japonesa” no fue su éxito más notable había algo en ella que nos llamó la atención y pues este es el resultado de lo que hicimos y así quedó. Nuestra intención u objetivo con este cover era lograr que llegara a ellos, y ahora lo comparto con todos ustedes, espero que les guste a ustedes también!
Hello #Hive community, I am pleased to share with you this cover of the song “Japonesa” by Mau & Ricky that I decided to mount with one of my best friends and personally one of the most talented artists out there, Alannis Serrano. The story of how we decided to record it is a bit funny because it was nothing planned and from one day to the next, without complications or hesitation. We listened to the song that was originally in reggaetón and in our brainstorming the idea of covering it came up, making it more unique, more of us. Mau & Ricky are Venezuelan singers, sons of the great Ricardo Montaner, they have had a very marked evolution from 2016 to the present. They dedicated themselves to music since 2010 they started with rock, then with ballads but it was in these last 4 years that they began to create more jovial content, Reggaeton, merengue, pop, among others, and they began to achieve fame. In terms of music and composition they became more and more noticed, achieving a lot in such a short time (relatively) and the style they adopted until now was what caught Alannis and me making us followers of their songs and although "Japonesa" was not her most notable success there was something about her that caught our attention and well, this is the result of what we did and that's how it remained. Our intention or goal with this cover was to get it to reach them, and now I share it with all of you, I hope you like it too!
