Are Bid Bots or Upvote Bots Really Good for Steem Environment ?

We know there are so many bid bots or upvote bots on steemit. If you want to find them, then go to https://steembottracker.com

We basically use bidbots to promote our articles or to increase reward (must be a quality content). But is it good for steemit environment ? There are so many spammers who are just use bid bots to make profit. They do not give attention to quality contents. For this, we may be loss creativity.

As nothing comes easy, we have to work hard more and more. I know it is hard to live a new steemian here but doing quality contents continuously with creativity may take them to the moon.

Now let me know, are bid bots or upvote bots really good for steem environment ?

Please put a little description in favor of your opinion if you want.

Thanks everyone.

I voted for "May be", which is "Maybe", because bid bots and upvote bots are two different things.
The answer is "no" in the case of bid bots.
The answer is "yes" in the case of upvote bots.
Especially considering/taking into account the fact that there are free upvote bots.
For example the Minnow Support Project have a free upvote bot on their Peace, Abundance, Liberty Discord server.
Steem Monsters/Splinterlands also have a free upvote bot on their Splinterlands Discord server.
Busy.org automatically upvotes posts made with Busy using the "busy" tag.
If I would not use these free upvote bots, then the rewards on most of my posts would not reach the payout threshold ($0.02 USD), so I would not earn anything with those posts.

I see it as a double-edged sword. As you correctly pointed out, there are people using bidbots for profits. This is only natural as people are drawn to incentives. If the system economics of Steem allows such behavior to be profitable, then there will certainly be people doing that. Among these people, there are still good users who make sensible posts and through bidbots, they are just getting the votes they deserve.

In addition, there are also legitimate users using bidbots for post promotion. Unfortunately, the system ranks posts based on the vote value. So in order to gain awareness, you need to get more votes. Under the current situation, many good initiatives are not organically discovered by the community. Bidbots provide an avenue for more effective post promotion.
